Non-prescription, easy and long lasting relief from motion sickness

What’s in the product

The active medical ingredient in Transderm-V® is scopolamine, an effective medication for the prevention of nausea and vomiting because it reduces the activity of the nerve fibers in the inner ear and acts on the motion sickness centres in the brain. Transderm-V® contains 1.5 mg active substance scopolamine per disc.

How it works

Transderm-V® is a small, flexible adhesive disc that you can affix behind your ear 12 hours before travelling. Once applied, it delivers scopolamine to the skin surface, which is then absorbed gradually into the bloodstream over a prolonged period of up to 3 days.

Who can use it

Transderm-V® is indicated for adults only – it has not been determined if it is safe for children, who are particularly sensitive to the effects of scopolamine. While most people can safely benefit from Transderm-V®, the guidelines as to who should not use it include pregnant or breastfeeding women, those with specific health conditions or taking certain medications. Transderm-V® should not be used if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to scopolamine or have glaucoma. Also, as with any medication, some people may experience mild to more severe side effects.
